Six weeks after STZ injection and appearance of neuropathy in diabetic rats, animals were divided into four groups: experimental, vehicle, diabetic and control. The experimental and vehicle groups received respectively single dose of 5 mg/kg day-1 cerebrolysinand saline intraperitoneally for two weeks.
