Abstract :

The study was to find out the Fluids changes before and After Dialysis of Kidney failure patients in Ilala Municipality, Dar es salaam, Tanzania. Data were analyzed using STATA 13.1. Data were tested for significance using two sample t test and found to be statistically significant as the probability of t- value was less than 0.05 i.e. P r(T > t) = 0.0186 < 0.05. Pearson correlation and linear model were used to see the association and relationship between the variables. The results also showed that the quantity of water diminishes after dialysis. The correlation coefficient shows strong correlation between variables as it is statistically significant, that is, r = 0.9570, p = 0.0000 which shows that as water is removed, there is a good health than before dialysis. A linear model shows that dialysis positively changes life of Kidney patients. The study recommend the government of Tanzania to increase dialysis machines and sensitize to its people especially those with kidney failure to approach medical doctors for Dialysis as it helps surviving longer than before
