In recent time, Alopecia Areata has become a new menace for mankind. Although alopecia areata is one of the most common autoimmune diseases, the pathobiology of this chronic, relapsing hair-loss disorder is not fully understood. The available conventional treatments are disappointing. Usually Alopecia Areata is considered as a cosmetic hair problem but it is such a capricious medical condition that has devastating effects on the patients quality of life and self-esteem. Ayurveda has described this medical condition as an INDRALUPT and there are natural treatment options given in the books of Ayurveda which was written before 5000 years ago.
