Introduction

Cardiovascular Diseases (CVDs) are among the leading causes of death globally, with Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) and cerebrovascular disease being significant contributors. These diseases often result from atherosclerosis, a condition characterized by the buildup of plaque within arterial walls, leading to arterial narrowing or blockage. Angioplasty is a widely used procedure aimed at alleviating symptoms and reducing the risk of complications associated with atherosclerosis.
