Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change was set up by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) aims to an account of environmental change and its likely natural and financial results. Geology has assumed a focal part in the IPCC's exercises. Dr. Thomas Wilbanks, past leader of the AAG and beneficiary of various distinctions in the field of topography, filled in as lead creator of a part of the Fourth Assessment Report which was granted the Nobel Prize in 2007. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)

National Climate Data Center (NCDC)
The United States National Climatic Data Center (NCDC), recently known as the National Weather Records Center (NWRC), in Asheville, North Carolina, was the world's biggest dynamic document of climate information. Beginning as a classification unit in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1934, the environment records were moved to Asheville in 1951, turning out to be named the National Weather Records Center (NWRC). It was subsequently renamed the National Climatic Data Center, with migration happening in 1993. In 2015, it was converged with the National Geophysical Data Center (NGDC) and the National Oceanic Data Center (NODC) into the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI).
World Meteorological Organization (WMO)
The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) is an intergovernmental association with participation of 193 member states and territories. It started from the International Meteorological Organization (IMO), the underlying foundations of which were planted at the 1873 Vienna International Meteorological Congress. Set up by the approval of the WMO Convention on 23 March 1950, WMO turned into the specific organization of the United Nations for meteorology (climate and environment), operational hydrology and related geophysical sciences a year later. The Secretariat, settled in Geneva, is going by the Secretary-General. Its incomparable body is the World Meteorological Congress.
