Despite remarkable progress, colorectal surgery still faces hurdles, including complications, resource limitations, and disparities in access to care. Colorectal surgery has undergone remarkable transformations in recent decades, driven by advancements in technology, surgical techniques, and perioperative care. Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) has revolutionized colorectal surgery by offering patients shorter hospital stays, faster recovery times, and reduced postoperative pain compared to traditional open surgeries.
