Over the years, advancements in surgical techniques, perioperative care, and multidisciplinary approaches have transformed the landscape of colorectal cancer surgery, offering new avenues for improved outcomes and quality of life. This article provides a comprehensive review of collateral cancer surgery, encompassing the latest advancements and innovations in surgical techniques, perioperative management, and multidisciplinary care. By exploring the evolving paradigms of minimally invasive surgery, robotic-assisted techniques, enhanced recovery protocols, and multidisciplinary approaches, we aim to highlight the impact of these interventions on patient outcomes and the future of colorectal cancer treatment.
