Yanmei Sang graduated from Shandong Qingdao Medical college in 1991. In 2002 , she attained her MD degree from Capital Medical University. From 2006- 2007 she went to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, University of Pennsylvania for one year’s postdoctoral research. Her postdoctoral research subject is on mechanism of insulin secretion. Now she is working as a chief physician and Associate Professor in Department of Endocrinology, Beijing Children’s Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University.
Yanmei Sang’s main research field include type 1 diabetes, congenital hyperinsulinism and neonatal diabetes mellitus.
