Dr. Syed Sibte Hadi is a trained forensic pathologist having graduated and trained in forensic pathology at King Edward’s Medical School, Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his PhD studies at Glasgow University in 2001 and worked in the area of forensic genetics. He established a DNA sequencing laboratory at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Centre, New Orleans and was part of Ageing Research group there. He was then appointed as faculty member at the University of Central Lancashire, Preston, UK in 2003 where he is currently based. His main interests are in the field of human identification; DNA markers and next generation sequencing for forensic purposes.
