Dr. De Rossi received his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1995 and completed his post-doctoral training in Oral Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center in 1998. Dr. De Rossi has had a clinical practice limited to Oral Mucosal Disease, Facial Pain and Salivary Gland Disease for the past 13 years. He achieved Diplomat Status from the American Board of Oral Medicine in 1999. Dr. De Rossi′s currently an Associate Professor of Oral Medicine and Chairman of Oral Health and Diagnostic Sciences at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry and Associate Professor of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and Associate Professor of Dermatology in the School of Medicine. He is serving as an Editorial Board Member of 7 Journals currently and has published over 75 manuscripts, abstracts and book chapters in the filed of Oral Medicine.
His research interests include oral complications of systemic disease and treatment, xerostomia , orofacial pain disorders, and the dental management of medically complex patients.
