Dr. Rabindra Nath Das is a Professor in the Department of Statistics, The University of Burdwan, Burdwan (B.U), West Bengal (W.B.), India. He received Ph. D., in Statistics, from B.U. India, and Post-Doc, Research Professor from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea. He has authored more than 142 research articles, and along with a research Monograph entitled- Robust Response Surfaces, Regression, and Positive Data Analyses, published from CRC Press, Taylor & Francis, Chapman & Hall. He has received ‘Gopal Kanji Prize 2009’ by The Journal of Applied Statistics for the best article published in 36(7), Shiksharatna Award 2021 by the Govt. of W.B., and he has been selected as Ajou Global Fellow (AGF) by Euiho Suh, Ph.D. VP & Chair, UEMC, AJOU University, South Korea. He is acting as Editor-In-Chief, Editor, Associate Editor, EBMs of more than 135 Journals.
Professor Rabindra Nath Das has been working research on many areas such as Theoretical Statistics (1. Response Surface Design of Experiments (Rotatability & Slope-rotatability); 2. Block Design of Experiments; 3. Regression Analysis; 4. Demography; 5. Quality Engineering; 6. Generalized Linear Models (GLMs) and joint GLMs) and Applied Statistics (7. Quality & reliability improvement experiments; 8. Civil Engineering; 9. Environmental Science; 10. Genetics; 11. Hydrogeology; 12. Bio-statistics; 13. Medical Sciences; 14. History; 15. Psychology; 16. Epidemiology on Thyroid disease Liver disease, Diabetes, Carcinoma, Cardiovascular disease, etc.). He has produced many articles on these above areas. His special research interest is on theoretical statistics and applied statistics in every field of science and social science.
