I was born on the 5th of September, 1968 in Cairo, Egypt. I graduated from high school with high grades that were enough to make me join the Pharmacy College in Cairo University, Egypt.After my graduation from college in 1991 with high GPA, I was assigned as a demonstrator in Pharmacognosy and Natural Products department in Cairo University. At 1999, I finished my master on “Pharmacognostical study of Sonchusoleraceus family Asteraceae” which was credited as the best thesis in Egypt for this year. In addition, I finished my PHD in 2004 and I was promoted as an associate professor in the year 2010, with the best research in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I’ve been an associate professor, the head of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemsitry Department, chief academic officer and a member in the research committee in Dubai Pharmacy College since 2005.
I am always looking forward on doing researches on Natural Products including: Extraction, isolation and characterisation of the active constituents from plant origin also biological activities of both the isolated compounds as well as the extract prepared from the plants.
