Mark M Kushnir is a Senior Scientist at ARUP Institute for Clinical and Experimental Pathology. Adjunct Associate Assistant Professor, Department of Pathology, University of Utah, Salt Lake City. Adjunct Researcher, Department of Analytical and Physical Chemistry, Uppsala University, Uppsala, Sweden. Dr Kushnir received PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Uppsala University, Uppsala, Sweden; and MS in Chemical Engineering from Donetsk Polytechnic Institute, Donetsk, Ukraine. He has published over 55 scientific publications, awarded with seven patents. Dr Kushnir received publication of the year award of the ABRF society (2010), 2nd place Phabian award for best PhD thesis in filed of bio-analytical chemistry defended in Sweden (2009), 1st place award for poster from Pediatric Maternal-Fetal Division of American Association of Clinical Chemistry (2009), Silver Medal from the National Exhibition of Russia for development of a gas analyzer (1991). He is reviewer of manuscripts for Journals Clinical Chemistry, Clinical Biochemistry, Clin Chim Acta.
