Dr Gilbert is an Assistant Professor of Physiology and Pharmacology at the University of Minnesota Medical School-Duluth. Previously served on the faculty at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (2007-2008). Post-doctoral training at University of Mississippi Medical Center, Department of Physiology (2006-2007) and University of Texas Health Sciences Center, San Antonio Texas, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (2005-2006) Earned doctorate at the University of Wyoming in Zoology and Physiology (2005) Merck New Investigator Award from the Council for High Blood Pressure. Research Published over 60 manuscripts and abstracts ad hoc reviewer for over 15 internationally recognized journals.
