The current position of Dr. Chan is the director of general psychiatry, Taoyuan Psychiatric Center, Ministry of Health and Welfare, Taiwan. He is a medical doctor since November 1992. He finished his psychiatric training in April 1998 and since then worked as a visiting psychiatrist in Taoyuan Psychiatric Center, Taiwan. He received his Ph.D. from Graduate Institute of Preventive Medicine of National Taiwan University in December 2009. His research interests are in the field of psychopharmacology and psychiatric epidemiology and he has many related publications in international peer-reviewed journals. In addition to his scientific writing, he is a reviewer of several SCI journals.
