Gabor Braunitzer

Gabor Braunitzer earned his first MA degree in American Studies/TEAFL from the University of Szeged in 2005. Then he switched to medicine, in which he finally earned a theoretical medicine/neuroscience PhD at the same institution. The topic of his thesis was the visual development of children with migraine. His results he published in internationally renowned journals like Cephalalgia and Brain Research. 2006 to 2011 he taught medical physiology at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Szeged. Since 2012 he works as the supervisor of clinical research at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Szeged. His primary scientific interest is visual neuroscience and social neuroscience, but enjoys working with any medical field. Braunitzer speaks 5 languages, including English, German, Dutch and Norwegian, most of which he learnt by himself.
