Dr. Fernando Antonini graduated from Santa Catarina Federal University – School of Dentistry, Brazil, in 2007. Afterwards he was approved for the Periodontology postgraduate program in Louisiana State University Health Science Center, in New Orleans, USA, where he became a resident of such department. Dr. Antonini went back to Brazil in 2010 and completed a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Paraná Federal University and a Master of Science in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, in Brazil. During this 7,5 years period of postgraduate eduaction, Dr. Antonini has published many articles and has participated in many researches focused on OMFS and Implant Dentistry. Currently, Dr. Antonini is a part-time faculty member for undergraduate dental education and postgraduate programs in Implant Dentistry and OMFS. He is a member of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and Board certified by the Brazilian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, as well as a member of AO (Academy of Osseointegration). He is also the owner and director of a private practice (FACE – Fernando Antonini Cirurgia e Estética) in Brazil and his practice is focused to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Implant Dentistry.
