Dr. Farage Miranda is working currently in Feminine Clinical Sciences, The Procter & Gamble Company, USA. Recently, increased awareness for the need to critically look at the vulva tissue differently has been emphasized in several of her publications and review articles published in peer-reviewed journals and books.
Dr. Farage currently leads research on vulvology, dermatological testing, emotional and invention of new clinical method developments. She is particularly interested in advancing research and technical understanding on vulva skin, health; life time changes, skin effects, sensitivity and different skin exposure physiological impact. In addition, Dr. Farage’s research is also focused on the sub-clinical, Quality of Life and sensory effects. Dr. Farage led the need to change the traditional approach and thinking in the safety assessments and exposure estimates for the genital skin. Recently, increased awareness for the need to critically look at the vulva tissue differently has been emphasized in several of her publications and review articles published in peer-reviewed journals and books.
