Eva Corey is an Associate Professor in the Urology Department at the University of Washington. She has received her BS (1985) and MS (1986) in organic chemistry at Charles University, Prague, Czechoslovakia, and her Ph.D. (1989) in peptide chemistry at Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences, Prague, Czechoslovakia. Dr. Corey is an editorial board member of Open Bone Journal and Open Prostate Journal and an ad hoc reviewer for multiple other journals. She serves on Department of Defense study sections for prostate and breast cancer research, and reviews application for multiple European cancer funding agencies. Dr. Corey′s research focuses on prostate cancer with emphasis on androgen receptor signaling, castration resistant prostate cancer, bone metastases, and preclinical models of prostate cancer and evaluation of novel agents as potential treatment for this disease.
