Erkan Alpsoy

Erkan Alpsoy is professor and head of the Department of Dermatology and Venereology, Akdeniz University School of Medicine, Antalya-Turkey. He graduated from Akdeniz University School of Medicine Antalya, Turkey in 1988. After a two-year-compulsory servis, he completed dermatology and venereology residency program in the same institution in 1993. He became Assistant Clinical Professor of the same institution in 1994. In 1997, he was appointed associate professor, and in 2003 full professor. Prof. Alpsoy’s research interests include Behçet’s disease and other vasculitis, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, autoimmune bullous diseases, melanoma, Stevens-Johnson Syndrome and Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis.
