Biography

I have been working as an Associate Professor & Scientific Assistant ‘D’, Grade Pay – 4800, Pay matrix level – 8 (Present Basic 56900 + Usual allowances including HRA, DA, TA + NPS + PRIS of Department of Atomic Energy under Government of India) in Department of Occupational Therapy, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai since 01/07/2020 & joined this esteemed establishment as a Scientific Assistant ‘B’ (Clinical Occupational Therapist), Grade pay - 4200 dated on 01/08/2011. I have been involving in teaching, research & clinical works for assessment & treatment of following patients - Cancer related lymphedema (BCRL, H&N Lymphedema, Genital Lymphedema, Lower extremity Lymphedema), Oedema, DVT, Palliative care, Trismus, Shoulder & neck dysfunction, Breast prosthesis after mastectomy, Axillary web syndrome in breast cancer, post op limb salvage surgery, Amputation, Chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy, Urinary incontinence, Vaginal stenosis / Stricture, Hand conditions & Brain tumor…etc & Currently I am involving as a Co-PI / Co -Investigator of 11 clinical trials.
Worked as an Occupational Therapist cum Rehabilitation Coordinator with Global Institute for Childhood Disability, Amritsar (a specialized Institute for Cerebral palsy, Autism, Mentally Retardation & Multiple Disabilities) from 8^th May 2008 to July 2011
2 year Worked in Multiple Sclerosis Society of India, Mumbai, period from 1/10/2005 to 08/10/2007
18^th Month Worked as an Occupational Therapist with V.K. NEUROCARE & TRAUMA RESEARCH HOSPITAL, Hisar (Haryana), Period from 1^st September 2003 to 28^th February 2005.
