Dr. A. Deniz Akkaya graduated from Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2001. She was a resident between 2002-2008 at the Dermatology and Venereology Department in HaydarpaÅŸa Numune Training and Research Hospital, Istanbul. After working as a dermatologist at the ElazıÄŸ Dermatovenereology and Leprosy Hospital, ElazıÄŸ and at the KeÅŸan State Hospital, Edirne between 2008-2010, she worked as a visiting doctor at the Pediatric Dermatology Clinic, Texas Children’s Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas in 2010. Dr. Akkaya has been working at the V.K. F. American Hospital in the Department of Dermatology since 2011, with a focus on Pediatric Dermatology. She was a visiting scholar at the Pediatric Dermatology Department, University of California, San Francisco in 2014. Dr. Akkaya has been working at Koç University Hospital, Department of Dermatology since September 2014.
