Daming Zhu obtained her B.S. in Chemistry from Jilin University, China and her M.S. in Plant Biochemistry from China Agricultural University (formerly the Beijing Agriculture University, China). She is currently Head of the Quality Control Team, Laboratory of Malaria Immunology and Vaccinology, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, National Institutes of Health (NIH). She has published over 30 research papers in peer-reviewed journals, and has served as an editorial board member of Dataset Papers in Medicine: Immunology.
