Dr Anjan Bhattacharya has worked in the field of Paediatrics, Neonatology and Developmental Paediatrics both in India and the UK for last 22 years, 12 years of that being in the UK.
While working in London, he has developed special interest in Developmental Paediatrics. He is proficient in the length and breadth of the subject of Developmental Paediatrics including:
Neuro-disability (Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Cleft lip/palate, Muscular Dystrophy),Neuro-developmental (Developmental delay/disorder, learning delay/disorder.
He has expertise in leading multidisciplinary assessment and management of children with complex disabilities. A part of this includes specific diagnostic assessment tools for children with Autism. He is trained in the Gold Standard diagnostic evaluation of such children with Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule [ADOS] and Autism Diagnostic Interview - Revised [ADI - R] technique.
