Chronic limbic encephalitis can be a major source of
morbidity in patients with T1DM. The aim of the case report
is to highlight the significance of early identification of signs
of memory impairment in patients with T1DM, screening for
GAD65 antibodies in the CSF and to be aware of the possible
association between limbic encephalitis, GAD65 antibodies and
