A novel mechanochemical method was used to synthesize the Zn (Metal) and N (Non-metal) doped and pure Tin (II) Sulphide. The synthesis was simply performed by hand grinding the reactants in mortar- pestle. The synthesised Zn and N doped Tin (II) Sulphide was characterised by the characterisation techniques SEM, EDX, XRD, UV-Visible Spectroscopy and photoluminescence Spectroscopy. The formation of nano size particles of the SnS was confirmed by SEM. The Elemental analysis was confirmed by Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectroscopy. The band gap was calculated with the help of UV- Visible Spectroscopy. The photoluminescence p.. View More»
