Monitoring Mediterranean Hurricanes Using Infrasound

Sometimes or twice a year, tropical-like storms called medicanes, often known as Mediterranean hurricanes, emerge over the Mediterranean Sea. These mesocyclones' powerful winds and heavy rainfall seriously endanger coastal infrastructure and human life.
