    Latent autoimmune diabetes in adults (LADA) is a form of diabetes that shares characteristics of both Type 1 diabetes (T1D) and Type 2 diabetes (T2D). This form of diabetes is often misdiagnosed as T2D due to its slower progression and the initial non-dependence on insulin therapy.
