Dr. Sheeba Murad has been serving as an Assistant Professor since 2010. She did her Masters and M.Phil (Microbiology) from Quaid-e- Azam University (QAU), Islamabad. She received scholarship from Higher Education Commission (HEC) to pursue PhD in Austria. She graduated from the Medical University of Vienna in Dec 2009. After which, she joined National University of Science’s & Technology (NUST) as an Assistant Professor.
She has recently received an International prestigious award to pursue Post Doctorate. She is grateful to the Schlumberger Foundation for providing her with this opportunity. She will be working under the theme: HPV-related disease burden in Pakistan and its cost effective therapeutic intervention in St.George’s University of London. Schlumberger Foundation- Faculty for the Future (FFTF) is a non-profit International Organization that aims to close the gender gap in Science by facilitating the women from the developing countries to pursue PhD or Post-Doctoral studies in the top universities in the world. Dr. Murad was one of the 155 successful awardees who got selected following a competitive selection process among more than 1100 applicants from different parts of the world.
