Risa Ozaki

Dr. Risa Ozaki graduated from the University of Sheffield in 1994. She joined the Department of Medicine at Prince of Wales in 1996 after returning from the United Kingdom and received her Diabetology and Endocrinology training at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Hong Kong. She received her Membership with the Royal College of Physicians (U.K) in 1999 and was conferred her Fellowship with the Hong Kong College of Physicians in 2002.
Dr. Ozaki currently works at the Prince of Wales Hospital under the Division of Diabetes and Endocrinology as an Associate Consultant. She is currently in charge of the Diabetes and Endocrine Research Center and has been running more than 60 clinical trials for novel drug development as well as disease management programs at the center since 2003.
Dr. Ozaki is also the Deputy Director of the Yao Chung Kit Diabetes Assessment Center which is a non profit making organization with the mission of providing services for the screening of diabetes, conducting comprehensive diabetes complication screening and providing diabetes education. Through this center, Dr. Ozaki has been involved in community programs to raise awareness of diabetes and other chronic diseases within the community to facilitate early detection and management of diabetes
