Gérald E. Piérard is presently an Honorary Invited Professor at the University of Liège. He is the past Chairman of the department of Dermatopathology, CHU Sart Tilman, Liège. He is a past visiting professor at the New York University, honorary Professor, University of Franche-Comté, France. He is the past president of (a) the International Society of Dermatopathology (ISDP), (b) the International Society for Bioengineering and the Skin, (c) the European Group for Efficacy Measurement of Cosmetics and Other Topical Products (EEMCO)
