Graduated in Physical Education from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1999), Master's in Human Motricity Sciences from Castelo Branco University (2002), Doctorate in Public Health from Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (2008) and Post-Doctorate in Physiology in Extreme Environments from the University of Portsmouth, UK (2016) and Post-Doctorate in Thermography Applied to Sport at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, ESP (2019).
